North Alabama Team Camp Objective
The North Alabama Team Camp is dedicated to providing the best individual instruction for both offensive and defensive players. All campers will receive individual and group instruction taught by experienced coaches at all positions. Individual and group sessions are designed to improve the individual skills of each player while still maintaining the the team first concept. The lists below details the individual and team fundamentals that will be taught while at the camp.

Offensive Fundamentals
* 3-step quick game, screens, and shuffle pass
* Catching, throwing, and pass route skills * Base run game skills and all shotgun option skills * Ball security * Offensive Linemen will learn pass & run blocking skills, and base trap play |
Defensive Fundamentals
* All Defensive Linemen skills will be taught for pass & run plays
* Linebacker and Secondary fundamentals will be covered in individual and group sessions * Principles and fundamentals of zone & man coverage |

* Early registration is highly encouraged to ensure your teams spot in the camp. ALL teams whether per-registered or plan to complete on-site registration should report to camp before 4:00 pm on the first day of their session. *

Camp Features & Competition
At the North Alabama Team Camp, we feel that competition is a key component to really getting the most out of your players while at the camp. All players will be instructed in all basic skills in 4 outdoor training sessions focusing on individual and team skills and fundamentals.Throughout the camp there will be a series of (6) 7 on 7 competitions. Each practice session will consist of at least (1) game of 7 on 7. These games are designed to give your players the opportunity to showcase the skills learned from the each day's instruction. All 7 on 7 games will be timed and officiated by camp staff. Teams will play at least 6 games over the two days of camp.
11 on 11 COMPETITIONS
N.A.T.C. will feature each team (2) 20 minute 11 on 11 sessions designed to give your team a head start on REAL FOOTBALL! EVEN BETTER...N.A.T.C. will film all 11 on 11 competitions, and upload them to HUDL so that each team's coaching staff can review the sessions. 11 on 11 will be FULL SPEED "THUD",with defensive reactions to ball carriers as a tag off. This is was a huge success in 2014, and we think you and your players will LOVE IT! in 2014. All 11 on 11 competitions will be officiated by camp staff.

Staff
A staff of 50 coaches that have coached and played at every level of football will be on had to offer the absolute best in team and individual football instruction. All staff members will be available during each session. This is sure to not only elevate the on-field performance of your players, but also improve their overall understanding of big picture football.

Supervision
Coaches are expected to supervise and stay with their teams at all times. Camp Staff will be on hand to help coaches with this task, but they are not in place exclusively to supervise. The coach for each team must assume responsibility and accountability of his entire team during the camp. All rules and regulations for Jefferson County Schools will apply to teams while in attendance at the camp.
