  • Currently the Head Football Coach of the Oxford Middle School 8th grade football team in Oxford, Miss
  • A 31 year coaching veteran, 21 as a Head Football Coach
  • Has coached Junior College, Junior High, Middle School and Varsity football during his 31 year career
  • Has in some form, owned and operated the North Alabama Team Camp since 1998
  • Coached teams whose offenses currently hold numerous state records in Alabama for scoring, passing yards, and touchdowns
  • Has a 185-64 overall record as a head football coach
  • Has coached every position on the field in his career
  • Has been an Offensive Coordinator and Defensive Coordinator
  • Has coached 4 different quarterbacks that have passed for over 2500 yards for the  season over 8 years
  • Has coached in the state finals 8 different times at 4 different schools
  • Has coached 4 players who have gone on to play football professionally
  • Coached his son Evan Swindall, who in 2014 signed on and competed in a free-agent tryout with the Seattle Seahawks but was later released. Evan started 35 games at Center for the Ole Miss Rebels Football Team. 
  • Three remarkable turn around stories at Daleville AL, Russellville, AL and Lafayette, Ga.  All 3 programs went from losing seasons to winning seasons under his tenure.
